Galloways Proudly Sponsors Dunraven School’s Black History Month Celebration
At Galloways, we’re passionate about supporting our local community, and we were delighted to sponsor Dunraven School’s “October Opportunity” event, held in celebration of Black History Month.
When the school reached out seeking support to bring a local steel pan band to perform, we were more than happy to step in and fund the full cost to make it happen. The steel band, based locally in Crown Dale, not only performed live but also offered students a hands-on taster session, giving them the chance to experience the joy and energy of Caribbean music up close. ��
The event was a fantastic celebration of culture, music, and community spirit, and we’re proud to have played a small part in helping it come to life.
“It’s really important to us that Galloways gives back to the communities we work in,” said Steve Carpenter, Director of Galloways. “Dunraven School does incredible work for young people in West Norwood and the surroundings areas, and we were thrilled to support their event celebrating such an important occasion.”
Dunraven School’s October Opportunity event brought together students, staff, and families in a joyful celebration that highlighted the creativity and diversity of the local community.
