At the helm of Galloways Estate Agents is Steve Carpenter, our Director and the driving force behind the company’s trusted name across South London, and more recently, into parts of Kent.
With a career that began in 1997, Steve brings nearly three decades of property experience to every conversation. From helping first-time buyers onto the ladder to overseeing complex portfolio acquisitions, Steve’s approach is professional, approachable, and results-driven.

As a fully qualified MNAEA and MARLA agent, Steve is known for his deep industry expertise and his commitment to professional standards in both sales and lettings. But it’s his in-depth local knowledge, not just of West Norwood and Penge, but now expanding into Bromley, Beckenham, and other Kent-bordering areas, that truly sets him apart.
Since stepping into leadership at Galloways, Steve has guided the company through a strategic evolution: blending traditional estate agency values with forward-thinking marketing, compliance expertise, and smart digital tools, including the launch of our brand-new website.
