Galloways standard fees for Sole and Multiple agency.
Standard Fees
Sole agency 2.1% inclusive of VAT (1.75% + VAT) Subject to a minimum fee of £4000.00 exclusive of VAT (£4800.00 inclusive of VAT.
Multiple agency 3.6% inclusive of VAT (3% + VAT) Subject to a minimum fee of £4000.00 exclusive of VAT (£4800.00 inclusive of VAT.
Other Fees
Energy Performance Certificate £102.00 inclusive of VAT (£85.00 + VAT)
If the Seller withdraws instructions to market the Property during the calling-off period, the Seller will be liable for the costs and expenses incurred by the Agent to date, up to a maximum of £200.00 plus VAT. This clause will only apply if the Seller withdraws instructions at any time before the 14-day cancellation period.
Galloways are required to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, the Serious Crimes Act 2015, and guidance from HerMajesty’s Customs and Revenue (“HMRC”). We have a legal obligation to identify the beneficial owner of a property, whether it be a private individual/s, a company, a trust, or an estate. The Agent may use a third-party data provider to comply with these regulations.
The Seller must provide proof of identity by way of a passport, driving licence, or current valid identity card; together with proof of residence in the form of a utility bill dated in the last 3 months, bank statement, or similar. A company may have to produce its certificate of registration. Memorandum and Articles of Association together with the identity of the director who signs documentation on their behalf. Further identity may be required.
Galloways employ a third-party company called Smart Search to carry out all of our Anti-Money Laundering Checks and continued monitoring.
We can accept third-party Anti-Money Laundering checks. If you have not had a recent valid Anti-Money Laundering check carried out by a reputable third party company, Galloways can provide this service for £20.00 per person plus VAT,(£24.00per person inclusive of VAT).
